Miami is a city built around connection, where good food, great conversation, and a sense of community have a way of bringing people together. Zoko Collective was created to be exactly that: a third space for the community of Miami, active in the everyday lives of the people who call this city home, where an evening with friends turns into a night that never rushes you out the door. Now officially open, Zoko Collective brings its founder’s vision to life as a gathering place made for discovery, connection, and togetherness.

Zoko is a modern reinvention of an idea rooted in centuries of tradition. Taking its name from the Txoko, the Basque gastronomic societies of Northern Spain, Zoko draws inspiration from gathering places where friends, family, and neighbors came together to cook, raise toasts, exchange ideas, and celebrate life. More than places to eat or drink, Txokos were built around trust, culture, and the belief that some of life’s best moments happen when people come together around a table. Zoko Collective, the vision of founder Jerry Böck, carries that spirit forward, reimagining the tradition for Miami through food, hospitality, culture, and community.

For Böck, bringing that spirit to Miami became a lifelong pursuit. Former General Manager of Cecconi’s at the Soho Beach House Miami, owner/operator of Wynwood Diner, one of the first restaurants in the Wynwood neighborhood, and founder of DOYA, Böck has spent more than three decades connecting people through food and hospitality. Zoko Collective is the fullest expression of that pursuit: a home for entrepreneurial chefs, a platform for emerging culinary concepts, and a stage where different cultures can be showcased under one roof.

“The Txoko showed me what was possible when a place is built around genuine connection,” says Böck in a statement. “Zoko is not just a restaurant group or an event venue. It is a destination where great food, culture, and community naturally intersect, where a chef with a bold idea has a stage, where a neighborhood can see itself reflected in the menu, where every visit feels a little different because the people who fill it are different. Miami deserved something built with that kind of intention, and I am proud we get to be that place.”

At 32,000 square feet, Zoko Collective is big enough to surprise you and intimate enough to make you feel like a regular by your second visit. Zoko Collective is open Thursday through Sunday from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM, with happy hour from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, while Lovecat Bar keeps the vibes going on Mondays with Industry Night from 7:00 PM to 2:00 AM. Its curated lineup currently includes Lovecat, FRA Pizza and Zoko Tapas, with new concepts and collaborations continually joining the mix, including a soon-to-be-revealed café concept. It’s the kind of place where you grab dinner with friends, trying FRA Pizza’s artisan pies (formerly Fradiavolo), made with ingredients imported straight from Italy for some of the most authentic pizza in Miami, and before you know it the night has turned into cocktails at Lovecat, an intimate bar built around hospitality and storytelling, where bartenders walk guests through each handcrafted cocktail, all inspired by classic albums and brought to life on the walls through custom artwork. One dedicated waiter can pull from any concept on the floor, so guests can experience all Zoko has to offer seamlessly without being tied to a single menu or space.

Zoko Collective is more than a place to eat. It’s a destination built around gathering. Beyond food and drink, Zoko’s monthly community programming keeps the space active in the everyday life of Miami, from wellness sessions and literary events to night markets, spirit tastings, cocktail classes, and more, with permits allowing the night to stretch until 3:00 AM.

Beyond the daily experience, Zoko Collective is also built to host. With flexible capacity ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale productions accommodating up to 820 guests, the venue allows for private bookings without disrupting daily business. Built-in production capabilities, including lighting, sound, and layout flexibility, make it a natural fit for everything from corporate events and brand activations to product launches, wellness gatherings, live music performances, and full venue buyouts. Zoko Collective is located just west of Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood, at 728 NW 29th Street, Miami, FL 33127.
