Dollar Tree is expanding its footprint in Coral Springs with plans to open a new store at Maplewood Plaza, located at 10151 W. Sample Road. According to Coral Springs Talk, the discount retailer will occupy a portion of the former Big Lots space. The publication reports that renovation work is underway, although an opening date has not been announced.
The new location will join existing locations at Coral Palm Plaza, Turtle Crossings, Magnolia Shoppes and the recently converted Party City store on University Drive.
Founded in 1986, Dollar Tree is headquartered in Chesapeake, Virginia, and operates more than 16,000 stores across the United States and Canada. The chain is known for offering an extensive assortment of value-priced merchandise, including household essentials, party supplies, seasonal décor, snacks, cleaning products, health and beauty items, and crafts.
The Coral Springs store is part of Dollar Tree’s expansion, with plans to open approximately 400 new stores this fiscal year while continuing to modernize existing locations and broaden its merchandise assortment. The retailer now operates more than 9,300 Dollar Tree stores across the United States and Canada.
