Whole Foods Market is continuing its South Florida growth with the opening of a new store in Doral on July 2, while another location is planned for Miami Beach’s Sunset Harbour neighborhood.

The new Doral store, located at 10700 N.W. 41st Street, will open July 1st. The 43,000 square foot store will feature more than 550 products from over 125 Florida-based suppliers. Shoppers can expect Whole Foods’ signature selection of organic produce, sustainably sourced seafood, prepared foods, bakery items, specialty cheeses and local favorites from brands such as Panther Coffee, Zak the Baker and Sushi Maki. Opening day festivities will include product samples, giveaways for the first 300 customers and donations to local hunger-relief organizations.

The South Beach store will be a 40,000-square-foot supermarket at 1901 Alton Road, replacing a Wells Fargo branch as part of a mixed-use redevelopment. It will become the second Whole Foods in Miami Beach and is expected to open in fall 2026.

Founded in 1980 in Austin, Texas, by John Mackey, Renee Lawson Hardy, Craig Weller and Mark Skiles, Whole Foods Market has grown into a mega natural and organic foods retailer. The company now operates more than 550 stores across the United States, Canada and the UK under its Amazon umbrella.
