The team behind Indian-Greek inspired coffee shop and cafe Cafe Babu are expanding their footprint in Nashville this year. Husband-and-wife team Shivani and Alexandros Darsinos are currently building out Bar Ena at Mildred Shute Avenue and Third Avenue South.
The team will also open clothing and fashion retail brand Leo Vas beside Bar Ena. The design, led by Alexandros and his architecture and design firm Studio YUDA, will draw inspiration from the Greek islands, according to a recent Instagram video.
Construction has been underway this month. Although further menu and design details for Bar Ena remain unclear at this time, it appears that the space will feature a unique design, just as Cafe Babu does.
Cafe Babu offers espresso beverages, cocktails, mocktails and bites such as honey whipped feta and chickpea curry wraps.
What Now Nashville reached the ownership team, but they were not immediately available for comment.
