An innovative ice cream shop will open in Brentwood this summer. Chill-N Nitrogen Ice Cream will make its Tennessee debut in June at 5002 Thoroughbred Lane. It is currently in the final stages of permitting with the city.

Owners Wesley and Angela Langlois are behind the expansion, bringing the franchise from Florida, where they discovered the creative nitrogen creations as loyal customers-turned-owners.

“There is so much to be excited about. The whole concept of nitrogen ice cream is really creative and fun. When we lived in Ft. Lauderdale, we were customers all the time at the location there. Everything is made in front of your eyes, it’s such a cool experience. When we first moved to Nashville, I remember a time during winter when it was so cold outside and there were still lines of people waiting outside at ice cream shops. We knew then that Chill-N would be a great addition to Brentwood,” Angela told What Now Nashville during a phone interview.

Although the franchising deal is to only open the one Brentwood store, Angela said that if this location reaches the success they plan on then they might expand the Chill-N brand even further in Tennessee.

The husband-and-wife duo said they’ll aim for a June grand opening date for Chill-N, however, an exact date is not set in stone.

The menu at Chill-N is expected to focus on build-your-own flavors, including inclusive options like non-dairy bases as well as a plethora of toppings to choose from.

Currently, Chill-N has nine locations in Florida and two locations in Texas.
