Dutch Bros Coffee has leased a 950-square-foot space at 3819 Franklin Road.

The 15-year lease is expected to start in February. The spot is currently under construction.

This will be the coffee chain’s third location in Murfreesboro and the 13th location in the Greater Nashville market, according to locations listed on the Dutch Bros website.

The company is currently pushing major expansion plans across the country. After Dane and Travis Boersma opened Dutch Bros in Oregon in 1992, the chain expanded across the West Coast and eventually began to spread to the South. Now, the company is targeting markets along the East Coast and in the South, with plans to grow to 4,000 stores.

As of this fall, the company had 950 locations across 18 states.

The brand is known for unique coffee offerings like the Golden Eagle — vanilla and caramel breve with caramel drizzle — and its selection of Rebel energy drinks.
