Hotel Project In The Gulch With Planned Restaurant Space To Begin Construction

The Gulch is slated to receive a new hotel. Tidal Real Estate Partners has received approval for a permit to begin the foundation for its planned 16-story hotel at 1221 Grundy St., according to reporting by the Nashville Business Journal.

The hotel will feature guest rooms as well as restaurant and retail on the ground floor. As of now, details remain scarce and an opening timeline is unknown.

A representative with Tidal Real Estate Partners was not immediately available for comment.

The New York City-based real estate development firm, helmed by Mick Walsdorf and Ken Copeland, has multiple projects in its portfolio, including several in Nashville. Tidal is behind Nashville EDITION Hotel & Residences as well as the apartments at 1111 Church Street. They also have projects in Atlanta, Savannah, Raleigh and New York.
