Tipsy Scoop’s boozy ice cream is slated to join the Nashville market this April on the ground level of the Sentral Apartments in SoBro, according to a release.
The location will open under the ownership of franchisees Rekina Gibson, Melanie Matthews and Martin Matthews.
“Every store has its own signature look,” Gibson shared in a past interview. “Our goal for our store is to really celebrate Nashville and have things that really represent country, music and the culture of Nashville. That’s what you’ll see when you walk into our Tipsy Scoop location. You’ll know you’re in Nashville.”
The franchise began in 2014 in New York City. Since then, the brand, helmed by CEO Melissa Tavss, has expanded to locations in New York, Washington, D.C. and the Bahamas.
The Nashville “barlour” will offer ice cream scoops, flights, cocktails and a signature Nashville flavor infused with Jackson Morgan’s Salted Caramel whiskey cream liqueur.
“Our liquor-infused ice cream flavors are all inspired by classic and contemporary cocktails and are made with local and seasonal ingredients in New York, NY,” the Tipsy Scoop website states.
