Living Waters Brewing is opening a West Nashville location at 4909 Indiana Avenue, with plans for a spring opening. The brewing company will be taking over the 3,800-square-foot space that formerly belonged to Czann’s Brewing Co., which closed in late 2024.

Owner Ryan McCay told What Now Nashville that they are moving most of their production to the west location, as well as creating a new spot for customers on that side of town to enjoy.

“Our focus has always been on direct-to-consumer as much as we can,” McCay said. “We love to be able to curate a good experience for folks and having an additional location in West allows us to meet our friends and customers there and curate a good experience for them.”

The new location, which McCay says they are planning to call The Garden, will have a bright interior with light woods.

“We’re going to do an uplift on it to make it our brand. We’re adding some new features,” McCay said. “Our focus is to make it into a garden vibe.”

Like the East Nashville location, they will serve beer and coffee, and there is a food element in the early stages of development as well.

McCay and his team are taking over the equipment from Czann’s Brewing, which will help bring Living Waters Brewing to the next level on the production end. McCay expects to save time, joking it will “be a lot better” for his personal life.

“It’s got a few equipment upgrades that will allow us to be more efficient in our production. We’ll be able to do everything we did in 18 hours in about 12,” McCay said. “Having a built-out production facility in a better format will be huge for us.”

McCay is excited to welcome customers in West Nashville to experience their beer and coffee offerings in-person at the new location.

“I like to have our team be the one speaking to the folks who are having our beer or drinking our coffee,” McCay said. “Our whole goal is to go beyond usual to create great beverage experiences. Being able to do that for more folks in another part of town is great.”
