Local pizza spot Midnight Oil is expanding for the first time since it opened its doors in the Nations in March 2020.

It will join the Donelson neighborhood this fall at 2606 Lebanon Pike, opening a space that will offer guests both indoor and patio seating, according to the Nashville Business Journal. Co-owner Nate Bagby told the Business Journal that he and the team hope to keep building out the Midnight Oil concept throughout Nashville, and potentially pursuing other concepts as well.

Midnight Oil is known for its signature pies such as the buffalo chicken pizza (bleu cheese or ranch base with buffalo chicken, diced celery, bacon and buffalo sauce), sweet heat (marinara sauce with sliced capicola, jalapeños and honey and white pizza (an olive oil base with spinach, San Marzano tomatoes and mozzarella and ricotta cheese). There are also build-your-own pizza options.

It will be near other restaurants such as Nicoletto’s Italian Kitchen and Sicilian Pizza Airport.
