A new restaurant and bar concept is heading to the Neuhoff development at 1316 Adams St.

Charmers & Cauponors will join the development in Germantown, according to recently filed permits. The spot will take a 4,000-square-foot space.

The Neuhoff mixed-use complex, which used to be a 1900s meatpacking district, has been under development since Atlanta-based real estate firm New City Properties purchased it in 2020. It offers more than 914,000 square feet of residential, office and retail space along the Cumberland River.

Other restaurant tenants either open or set to open at Neuhoff include Close Company, E+Rose and Fishmonger.

The team behind the Peninsula restaurant is crafting the new concept. Chris Schoen, Yuriko Say and chef Jake Howell opened the Peninsula in 2017 at 1035 W. Eastland Ave.

Peninsula serves a modern Spanish and French menu, alongside a beverage program featuring classic drinks, specialty cocktails, wine, beer and mocktails.

Information about the menu or design for Charmers & Cauponors has not been released.

As of now, it is unclear when the spot will open. Based on permits, it appears that the new restaurant is in the early stages of development.

What Now Nashville has reached out to the ownership team for more information on the new concept but has yet to receive a response. Stay tuned for updates.
