The local husband-and-wife duo Nick and Audra Guidry are prepping for a busy 2024 with their upcoming dining spot Juniper opening later this year along with the just-announced Olivia Cocktail and Oyster Bar coming soon to Lebanon, Tennessee at 112 E. Main St.
Although there is no confirmed opening timeline for the new concept, it’s likely to be upward of six months considering the team is working on opening Juniper first.
The nearby Nashville suburb is currently home to the Guidry’s bakery business, Slow Hand Bakehouse, where they whip up nostalgic American desserts and savory pastries. Olivia Cocktail and Oyster Bar will fill Lebanon’s much-needed niche of a cozy, casual setting for a glass of wine or a curated cocktail and small plates. An article from the Nashville Business Journal reports that the upcoming space will offer 45 seats from a U-shaped central bar and camel colored leather booths.
According to the NBJ article, the seafood-focused menu will offer “raw and baked oysters, peel-and-eat shrimp, crawfish rolls, small plates and dessert.” The corresponding cocktail menu is expected to accommodate a range of tastes, from sweet to boozy and seasonal. Nick Guidry told the NBJ that the bar’s signature cocktail, named after their daughter, Olivia, will be “sweet and delicate, yet feisty,” made with gin and floral ingredients.
The upcoming bar currently does not yet have any social media channels or a website created. Customers can be on the lookout for additional information as Olivia Cocktail and Oyster Bar comes closer to an opening date. What Now Nashville reached out to the Guidry’s for comment but did not immediately receive a response by the time of publication.
