SoBro’s Cummins Station has made the news recently for securing some high-profile dining destinations, such as Philippe Chow and Milkshake Concepts’ newest spot, The Finch Grill & Raw Bar. Now, another tenant has been announced; the household name Starbucks, according to a news release.

Starbucks will join the mixed-use complex at 209 10th Ave S. sometime this year, though a more precise opening timeline is forthcoming. Ownership company DZL Real Estate, spearheaded by Zachary Liff, announced the incoming cafe this week in a release, as well as adding it to the Cummins Station website.

“Starbucks– (Opening 2024 TBD)– This new store will be conveniently located at the intersection of 10th Ave. S. and Demonbreun St. within walking distance of downtown attractions,” it says.

Its website describes DZL as “a market leader in real estate development and property management, featuring a high-profile mixed-use portfolio of office, retail, entertainment, hospitality and co-working properties. The neighborhood sits in Nashville’s downtown urban core, inside the SoBro and Gulch neighborhoods. The campus spans 16 contiguous acres, with numerous core infill sites ready for development, anchored by iconic adaptive reuse properties, cornerstones of the city.”

According to an article from the Nashville Post, even more changes are on the horizon for Cummins Station and its surrounding property. “DZL President Zach Liff is seeking to sell his roughly 16 acres of SoBro property that, in addition to being anchored by Cummins Station, offers live music venue Cannery Hall, the Baggage Building (positioned adjacent to Union Station Hotel) and 12.43 acres of essentially raw land,” states the article.

Starbucks currently operates 19 locations in the greater Nashville area. Stay in the loop for additional updates on the Starbucks website.
