Highland Yoga, a yoga studio originally founded in Atlanta, GA, announced the grand opening of its first Nashville location on Music Row in August 2024. Known for its powerful vinyasa flow classes, Highland Yoga promises to bring an inspiring and invigorating yoga experience to the heart of Nashville.

Highland Yoga was established in 2015 by Elsie Brotherton and John Irvin, who envisioned creating a space where individuals could discover their strongest selves through creative, challenging, and sweaty yoga classes. Over the years, Highland Yoga has grown to encompass nine locations throughout Georgia, including Atlanta, Alpharetta, and Athens. The expansion into Nashville marks a significant milestone in the studio’s journey, reflecting its commitment to fostering a positive and supportive yoga community.

Highland Yoga’s classes are distinguished by their focus on breath-driven, creative vinyasa flow, enhanced by the purifying benefits of infrared heat and motivating playlists. This unique combination not only challenges the body but also purifies the mind, helping practitioners connect deeply with their inner selves.

“We are incredibly excited to bring Highland Yoga to Nashville,” said Elsie Brotherton, Co-Founder of Highland Yoga in a statement. “Our mission has always been to create a welcoming and empowering environment for everyone, regardless of their yoga experience. We can’t wait to become a part of the vibrant Nashville community and support our new members in their yoga journeys.”

Highland Yoga Nashville will be located on Music Row in the Moore Building. The studio will feature state-of-the-art facilities designed to enhance the yoga experience, including a spacious practice room with infrared heating and a welcoming lobby for check in and community building.
