In business for just about one year, Grounded Coffee is a Lafayette Parish coffee shop that’s planning to add a second location. The current location in Sunset primarily offers takeout, and the second location being planned for 3414 N. University Avenue in Lafayette will place a strong emphasis on drive-thru service, which is in keeping with the current trend led by coffee chains like 7 Brew and Dutch Bros. An opening date has not been announced, and What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information.

Grounded Coffee offers both classic cafe drinks and modern coffee creations. Croissant breakfast sandwiches and muffins are also available. The coffee shop recently unveiled a king cake-flavored iced coffee for the Mardi Gras season.
