‘Baroness’ Location Coming to the Former Caribbean Club on Bayou Road

Plans filed with the city indicate renovations for a sister restaurant to the Baroness on Baronne

When local media professional Camille Whitworth opened the Baroness on Baronne back in 2022, she and her business partner Sidney Webb breathed new life in to the former Victory cocktail lounge and restaurant. Now, it appears Whitworth is preparing to repeat the feat with the Baroness on Bayou Rd. According to permit filings with the City of New Orleans, Whitworth is overseeing a renovation of the former Club Caribbean at 2441 Bayou Rd. Renovation plans for the 3,500-square foot-building revealed a bar area with seating, a dining area, and an outdoor patio. Renovations will primarily include new walls and equipment. The new restaurant appears to be a sister business to the Baroness on Baronne. That restaurant features a menu of small comfort food plates, including different types of pizza, muffaletta sliders, and skillet jambalaya. The drink menu includes beer, wine, and more than a dozen craft cocktails.
