The former Swig & Swine barbecue spot at 609 Bourbon Street is poised to become something a bit simpler: a Big Easy Daquiris Café. According to permits filed with the City of New Orleans, the daiquiri shop will have a full bar and live music. Other Big Easy Daiquiris locations have pizza by the slice as the primary food option. What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information.

While the Swig & Swine wasn’t a full restaurant per se, it did have a small food menu for Bourbon Street revelers. That menu included duck and andouille gumbo, a loaded brisket sandwich, a loaded pork sandwich, brisket tacos, and pork tacos. It also featured classic and signature cocktails.
