Currently a part of VIP City Tours in the French Quarter, the New Orleans School of Cocktails is preparing to open a standalone restaurant called Exchange Café. According to recent permit filings, the full-service establishment located at 307 Exchange Pl. will serve breakfast, lunch, coffee, baked goods, pastries, sandwiches, salads, and other prepared foods for both dine-in and takeout. Plans for the venue outline an intimate indoor dining room with a handful of tables, alongside a hallway leading to a shared courtyard featuring a guest restroom. Alcoholic beverages will also be served pending the final approval of all required city and state permits. What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information.

The upcoming marks a brick-and-mortar evolution for the cocktail school brand and VIP City Tours, which are both currently located at 839 Chartres St. While an official opening timeline has not yet been publicly disclosed, the spot is poised to serve locals and visitors alike in the historic Exchange Place alley.
