Having recently opened a location in Baton Rouge and with a New Orleans location on the way, Blazin’ Hot Chicken is continuing its statewide expansion with a Shreveport location opening this summer. According to the company’s social media profiles, the New Orleans location is set to open in April.

Born in Lake Charles, Blazin’ Hot Chicken is making a name for itself with two optional spice levels so hot, they come with a waiver. While the Xtra Hot spice blend contains the Trinidad Scorpion pepper, the Blazin’ Hot spice blend is made with the Carolina Reaper pepper. Both peppers are among the world’s hottest on record. While these signature spice levels may grab headlines, the restaurant mostly draws rave reviews for its hot chicken sandwiches, sliders, chicken tenders, and waffle fries.
