New Bar and Grill Coming to Broad Street and Bayou Road

Owners of the new bar were reportedly outside during Jazz Fest, greeting festival goers and selling beverages

Even though it has a prime location, especially during Jazz Fest, the corner of North Broad Street and Bayou Road has seen a few different bar-restaurant concepts come and go in recent years, including the Velveteen Lounge and Pirogues. Hopefully, the revolving door stops spinning with the planned opening of Tally-Ho Bar & Grill at 2565 Bayou Rd. According to a permit filing with the City of New Orleans, the restaurant will serve a variety of food and alcoholic beverages. What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information.

While the restaurant isn’t officially open, owners were selling drinks out front during Jazz Fest, according to a post on Reddit. The former Pirogues was known as a prime spot for festival goers. While one of the owners is a British native, Redditors said, there’s no indication that Tally-Ho will be a British pub.
