The opening of the cafe at 1224 Creswell Lane in Opelousas comes just a couple of weeks after state economic development officials staged two interactive events meant to stimulate business interest in downtown Opelousas. Officials said they were interested in opinions on revitalizing vacant buildings in the downtown area, and the feedback they collected would be used going forward.
