In September of this year, PrimoHoagies will open a store in the Big Easy, making it the franchise’s first storefront location in the state of Louisiana.
The purchase by franchisee William Kulick with Mammoth Holdings is being represented by commercial real estate firm Ben + Burka. PrimosHoagie will be located in the Uptown area on 8228 Oak Street, across the way from Oak Street Brewery. The recent news of PrimosHoagies opening up shop in New Orleans is evidence of a growing trend of East Coast Italian-inspired restaurants and delis making their way into the city.
As promised, the franchise is set to continue its 2023 expansion plan to introduce more than 100 stores in 60 locations across the country, as stated in an article by Nation’s Restaurant News.
Not only is this PrimoHoagies’ first NOLA location, but this will also be its introduction to the Primo Perks Rewards System. Updating its rewards system, the new offers include a redeemable $10 PrimoPerks offer once a customer reaches 200 points. Members will also have access to weekly deals and a birthday special of buy-one-get-one-free Primo-sized hoagie.
Born in South Philadelphia and headquartered in Westville New Jersey, PrimosHoagies is a beloved hoagie chain with a loyal fanbase in the northeast. The gourmet sandwich franchise is known for its use of high-quality meats, cheeses, and award-winning seeded-hoagie bread. Menu items include Specialty Hoagies like the Suprimo, which comes with prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, and roasted red peppers as well as deli classics like turkey breast and cheese hoagies with golden roasted turkey breast and American cheese.
Upcoming locations are set to appear in North Carolina, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Texas with the goal of making PrimosHoagie into a nationwide franchise. As one of the fastest-growing franchises in the country, PrimoHoagies increased sales by 22% in 2022 and expects to earn $80 million in sales revenue this year. It’s projected that PrimoHoagies will have between 300 to 350 locations in the next five years.
