The Salad Station restaurant is based on an idea so simple, it’s surprising that no one else thought of it years ago: What if, instead of featuring a self-serve salad bar, we made it the whole restaurant?
Based in Hammond, The Salad Station announced aggressive growth plans last year, and one of the newest locations will be just outside Baton Rouge, at 309 South Vaughn Dr. in Brusly. Set to open in October, the new Salad Station location will have guests using its massive salad bar to make a salad, wrap, protein bowl, loaded baked potato, or other dish. The service format works just like any other salad bar, with guests using utensils to serve themselves, then pay for their food at a checkout station. Customers at the new Brusly location will be able to dine-in, use the drive-thru, and order pickup via smartphone app, according to BRProud. What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information.
