The Hoffman Triangle neighborhood was recently dubbed “an area ripe for investment” by the Times-Picayune, and one of the newest investments is a Wingstop location coming to 2101 S Claiborne Ave. According to permit filings with the City of New Orleans, the location will be carry-out-only and not have any seating. The restaurant is currently under construction and is projected to be completed by the spring of 2025.

Submerged under 8 feet of water by Hurricane Katrina, the Hoffman Triangle is gaining increasing interest from developers. The neighborhood has a reputation for high crime, but statistics suggest a significant drop-off in the past four years. Projections for the neighborhood are so upbeat that the Times-Picayune suggested the area might quickly become gentrified, as development in nearby Central City continues to surge.
