Since debuting in Covington in 2023, Nacho Kat has built a following with its signature take on Tex-Mex. The full-service restaurant is now preparing to launch its first New Orleans location at 3151 Calhoun St. The upcoming Uptown outpost is expected to bring Nacho Kat’s quirky energy and highly-rated nacho platters. If the menu at the Calhoun Street location mirrors the Northshore location’s, it will feature nine signature nacho platters. There will also be the restaurant’s wildly popular tacos, including al pastor, birria, and mahi mahi. While the beverage menu includes soft drinks, beer, and wine, the cocktail options include classics like margaritas, mojitos, and mules.
