Fast-casual Cajun restaurant chain Off the Hook will open its sixth restaurant when a new location opens at the end of October in Denham Springs at 2319 South Range Ave. Off the Hook has won fans across southern Louisiana with its locally sourced seafood and quick-service Cajun cuisine. The menu at the Denham Springs location will offer the same seafood platters, gumbo, po-boys, chicken tenders, and etouffee that Off the Hook is known for. Other locations can be found in Baton Rouge, Gonzales, Hammond, Houma, and Thibodaux.

The larger Off the Hook Restaurant Group recently spun off a new concept called Jude’s Hot Chicken, which was reported on by What Now New Orleans. After opening last year in a former Off the Hook location in Baton Rouge, the initial restaurant was closed but dubbed a success by ownership, and a new location opened in Thibodaux this summer. The Jude’s concept is also a fast-casual restaurant like Off the Hook, but it specializes in Nashville-style hot chicken, not Cajun-style seafood.
