The Marigny-Bywater area has a number of good pizza spots, and it’s about to add one more, as a Pizza Hut location is being planned for 1940 St. Claude Ave. According to permits filed with the City of New Orleans, the new Pizza Hut location will be fairly compact, having a dining area of 424 sq. feet and a seating capacity of 21 guests.
The new Pizza Hut will be the second corporate pizza presence in the area, with a Domino’s located down Saint Claude, at 1120 Franklin Ave. Of course, the Marigny-Bywater area also has a number of great independently owned spots for great pizza, including Nola Mia Gelato, Paladar 511, and Pizza Delicious. Needless to say, there’s also pizza available nearby in the French Quarter.
