Combining two of the best comfort foods New Orleans has to offer, a new takeout restaurant called Crispy Fry will feature po-boys and fried chicken when it opens this October in Algiers. Located in the corner of a plaza at 3705 General De Gaulle Drive, Crispy Fry is takeout-only and there is no dining room. What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information.

According to a menu posted online, po-boy options at the takeout spot will include shrimp, oyster, catfish, cheeseburger, hot sausage, chicken, Philly cheesesteak, and turkey. Crispy Fry will also offer seafood platters, chicken tenders, chicken nuggets, salads, and chicken wings in lemon pepper, mild, hot, and barbecue flavors. Drink options will include Coke products and slushies. There are also two kinds of dessert options: cheesecake and various sweet cakes. A permit filing with the City of New Orleans indicated the restaurant will also serve breakfast all day.
