The popularity of Rêve Coffee Roasters in Lafayette continues to grow and the coffee company is now looking to expand its roasting operations. According to a report from the Lafayette Zoning Commission, Rêve is looking to rezone a half-acre plot the company owns and receive a conditional use permit for manufacturing. The company is seeking to renovate a warehouse on its property at 1103 E. University Ave. in Lafayette to create office space and a production operation.
The plans are just the latest signs of growth from the popular coffee company, Last year, a Rêve location in Lafayette burgeoning River Ranch neighborhood underwent a significant expansion. Renovations to the café added 1,000 square feet of space from a neighboring unit in the same building. The cafe also had a significant refresh that made it look more like other Rêve cafes. The cafe’s menu was also completely updated. Rêve currently has five locations in Acadiana and it’s known for offering modern brew methods and preparations, including the Aeropress brew method and nitro cold brew.
