Dubbed the official coffee of Livingston Parish earlier this year, French Settlement Roasting Co. is planning to open its first café at 18780 La-22 in Maurepas, which is close to the border with Ascension Parish. According to a post on Facebook, the café will feature French Settlement coffees in signature espresso creations and cold brew coffees. It will also offer pastries, waffles, and locally-crafted baked goods. There will be a drive-thru window and a family-friendly environment indoors. What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information.

Earlier this year, Livingston Parish president Randy Delatte recognized the veteran-owned French Settlement Roasting Co. as the parish’s official coffee. In praising the company, Delatte highlighted its charity partnerships with local schools, churches, and nonprofits.
