Fans of popular country music are about to get another great option in the French Quarter with the upcoming opening of Saddle Bar.

Located at 715 Bienville St., the two-story bar and dance club is being opened by Helios Management, which also operates Boot Scootin’ Rodeo and Backspace Bar and Kitchen. In addition to featuring the sounds of popular country music and rustic décor, Saddle Bar will also have a “mechanical rooster” that guests can ride like a mechanical bull. The bar also has a stately balcony that will be great for people watching, with views of Bourbon and Royal streets.

If Saddle Bar is anything like Boot Scootin’ Rodeo, a similar concept from the same management group, you can expect party vibes, dancing, rooster riding, and a whole lot of cowboy boots. That Bourbon Street bar also has beer pong and cornhole games. Drinks at Boot Scootin’ Rodeo can be ordered in the classic red Solo cup and the bar seats are actual horse saddles.
