A snowball and snacks shop called Dem Fire Snowballs is being planned for the corner store location at 3100 Toledano St. According to the permit filings with the City of New Orleans, the shop will offer snowballs, pizza, nachos, hot dogs, candy, and drinks. A takeout window at the front of the building will allow for fast service, and the space has undergone minor renovations. What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information.
In March 2020, a fire ripped through a Broadmoor strip mall in the 3100 block of Washington Avenue that included the previous location of Dem Fire Snowballs. Permit filings for the planned Toledano Street location have the business listed as “Dem Fire Snowballs #2.”
