The owners behind The Munch Factory are no strangers to opening a new iteration of their popular modern Creole restaurant, and it appears they are planning to do so again, this time in Mid-City. According to a permit filing with the City of New Orleans, a new location of The Munch Factory is being planned for 4141 Bienville Ave., Suite 110. Neither permit documents nor the restaurant’s social media accounts indicated if this would be a second location or a relocation of the main Munch Factory location at the Joseph Bartholomew Golf Course in Gentilly. Documents did indicate that the location would open in mid-October. What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information.

The original location of The Munch Factory opened in Gentilly in 2011 on Franklin Ave. After a move closer to the lake and then down to the Lower Garden District, the restaurant returned to Gentilly in 2019 in the clubhouse of the city golf course. It was initially a second location, but became the primary location after the Lower Garden District spot closed. There is also a location of The Munch Factory in the concourse of the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.
