R&B Lounge in Baton Rouge is moving to a new location, according to a liquor license application. Originally operating at 3151 College Drive, the cocktail lounge is moving just down the street to a freestanding building on 4612 Bennington Ave. that formerly housed Green Rabbit Tavern.
Owner Bianca Perkins first opened The R&B Lounge in 2022 and gained popularity, expanding within the space in 2024 to accommodate more guests. The lounge offers a more mature space, only admitting guests 25+ on the weekends.
In addition to classic cocktails, The R&B Lounge offers a collection of signature, mostly tropical, cocktails. It’s Pony is rum punch “with triple the rum,” and its Nice & Slow is a Long Island Iced Tea with a hint of melon. Guests who might’ve forgotten to eat before coming can find a small food menu of wings, boudin egg rolls and chips and queso.
The R&B Lounge doesn’t have an opening date as of yet. What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information.
