As Middle Eastern communities grow across the country, there has been an increasing number of Middle Eastern-style cafes opening up from coast to coast, many of which are part of a larger chain. Port Coffee Co. is one such café, and the company is planning to open one of its modern Yemeni coffee shops in the West Bank.

In addition to standard espresso drinks, Port Coffee also features a line of signature lattes. Some lattes, like the Pistachio Latte and Port Latte, are infused with traditional Middle Eastern flavors. Other latte flavors, like the Biscoff Latte, appear more influenced by trends on social media. According to a menu on the official website, the café also offers sweet and savory baked goods that similarly split the difference between Middle Eastern influences and social media trends. What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information.

When the café opens this fall at 1901 Manhattan Blvd. in Harvey, it will be the second Port Coffee location, with the first being located in Irving, Texas. The official website has a page that is specifically dedicated to its franchise program community.
