Fitness enthusiasts can look forward to a new place to train as Crunch Fitness expands to Lafayette, Louisiana.

The popular fitness brand will occupy the former Dirt Cheap space at 3324 Ambassador Caffery Parkway, according to Developing Lafayette.

Spanning more than 31,000 square feet, the new facility will offer a comprehensive fitness experience, featuring workout areas, training zones and a variety of amenities. Plans also include a kids crunch area for younger visitors.

In addition the fitness center will also include specialized functional fitness and HIIT training spaces, offering equipment such as battle ropes, rowers and HIIT bikes. Now, Crunch promotes its ‘No Judgments’ philosophy quite well and aim to create a welcoming environment for everyone from first-time gym-goers to experienced athletes.

Headquartered in New York City, Crunch serves more than 3.5 million members through a network of over 550 gyms across 41 states.

While there’s no official opening date yet, Developing Lafayette estimates the gym could open in late 2026 or early 2027, pending the start of construction. WhatNow Media Group contacted Crunch Fitness but did not get back for comment at the time of publication.
