Brooklyn Bread Cafe, a gourmet bagel and sandwich shop, is opening its third outpost in Tribeca next year. This will be the concept’s first-ever Manhattan location, co-owner Lenny Moyger told What Now New York.

The team secured the 823-square-foot ground floor space after being on the market for eight months. The New York-style deli – which currently boasts locations at 347 7th Avenue in Park Slope and 412 Court Street in Carroll Gardens – offers over 60 gourmet sandwiches, as well as a wide array of breakfast and lunch foods including bagels with lox, wraps, pastas, salads, yogurt parfaits, acai bowls, smoothies, pastries, and gourmet coffee. The concept has been operated by Brooklyn natives and longtime friends Dimitri Baylis and Lenny Moyger for over a decade.

“It’ll be the same menu, same concept,” Moyger said about the Tribeca location. “We’re just trying to bridge out and open another three to four locations in the new year to expand the brand.”

He added: “We have more of a gourmet concept that many others don’t have.”

Moyger said the team is looking to bring their unique concept to new markets within the city to expand their brand. While the Tribeca location is the only secured spot at press time, the team is actively looking to open up shop in places such as Midtown and the Upper East Side.

“We always buy the best quality products, from flour to meat,” Baylis told the Star Revue. “We never skim on quality and that translates to regular customers coming back, and new customers trying it out.”
