A new all-day spot has opened in Park Slope, transforming from a coffee shop by day to a wine bar at night. By day, guests can stop in for coffee and pastries, then return in the evening for dim sum, salads, skewers, and a global wine list.

New Brooklyn Eatery Transforms from Cafe to Bar

HOM Cafe & Wine spans across a long, bi-level space where modern style meets cozy charm. The interior features artworks against white walls, exposed bricks, and colored wooden accents.

Just past the entry, a coffee bar welcomes guests, anchored by a window-side table for 8 people. The restaurant also has a mezzanine that seats around 20 guests at intimate tables.

When: Sunday to Monday: 7.30 AM to 10 PM. Friday and Saturday: 7.30 AM to 11 PM

Menu Reflects Asian Heritage

The menu focuses on the Asian heritage of HOM Cafe & Wine’s partners with Indonesian, Chinese, and Thai backgrounds. The name of the eatery, HOM, means ‘fragrant’ in Thai, reflecting the rich aroma of coffee and wine.

The all-day dim sum menu features standouts like Pork & Watercress Dumplings, BBQ Pork Buns, Lotus Leaf Sticky Rice, and HOM Spicy Pork Ribs.

The coffee menu has signature offerings like cortado, flat white, espresso, and macchiato. Other special teas and coffee options include Pandan Espresso Latte, Thai Tea Espresso Latte, Brown Sugar Matcha, Coconut Vietnamese Iced Coffee, and Lavender Mint Matcha.

Pastries include salted egg yolk danishes, pandan cruffins, and 5-spice ham & cheese croissants from Claude Bakery. Beginning at 5 p.m., the evening menu adds dishes like Cold Chili Cucumber Salad, Spicy Thai Slaw, and Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp Skewers.

The wine list spans the globe, with 18 wines by the glass and 60 by the bottle. HOM Cafe & Wine brings Asian flavors to Park Slope, offering a space where mornings begin with coffee and pastries, and evenings wind down with wine and dim sum.
