Thai Sliders at 150 Eighth Avenue is experiencing a change of ownership, as well as a change in concept, according to recently filed paperwork.

Ginger Lau will be taking over ownership of the space for Thai Sliders, which was operated by her father Wau Ying Lau since its opening in 2015.

Ginger will continue to operate the family business as her father moves toward retirement, the paperwork says. She previously managed the family’s concept Baby’s Bun & Buckets, a fast-casual restaurant in DeKalb Market Hall in Brooklyn.

However, she has new plans for the space. She will operate the business as a new concept, renaming it to Ramen Goku and focusing on ramen dishes. The menu features items like tonkotsu ramen, chicken miso ramen and shoyu ramen, with extra toppings available for purchase.

The restaurant is expected to operate from 11:30 a.m. to midnight on weekdays and from 9 a.m. to midnight on weekends. It will have 12 tables that will seat a total of 28 customers, and one stand-up bar that will seat four.
