Refresco Beverages US Inc. filed a WARN notice with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. The filing indicates that the company will close its manufacturing facility in Carlisle, resulting in 63 job cuts.

Refresco to Cease Manufacturing Operations in Carlisle

Refresco Beverages filed the notice under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN) on April 14. The company will discontinue manufacturing operations at its Carlisle, Ohio, facility.

Refresco plans to cease manufacturing operations at the plant located at 300 Industry Dr., on or about June 24, 2026. Warehousing facilities at the site are expected to end by July 11. Additional equipment decommissioning will take place after that.

Refresco expects the facility to fully close around July 11, 2026, with final steps completed within one to two weeks. In the filing, the company listed impacted job positions and layoff schedules for each of them. The layoffs will be from June 24 through December 21.

In the filing, the company stated that the changing needs of Refresco’s customers, as well as high operating costs, led to the closure decision. For a smooth transition, Refresco will facilitate on-site job fairs to assist with job placement outside of Refresco, as well as assistance with resume writing.
