Although Felder was appointed as president this month, his association with Smoothie King began in May 2024. Last year, he was brought to the brand as the chief financial officer of the 1,200-unit smoothie chain.

Felder Brings Along Decades of Experience in the Food Space
Gavin Felder has advanced to the role of Smoothie King’s president and CFO, bringing over two decades of experience in the food industry.
He spent nearly 16 years at Yum! Brands, most recently serving as Chief Strategy Officer. As the chief strategy officer, he handled the fast food chain’s corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, etc.
Felder also held significant roles at KFC, Taco Bell, Habit Burger Grill, and Pizza Hut.
Smoothie King Introduces New Summer Delights Amid Leadership Development
Smoothie King has established itself as a health-focused beverage provider, offering timely and innovative products. The newest addition is a coconut water beverage under its new ‘hydration’ category.
The Dallas-based brand has brought back ‘Hydration Watermelon,’ which offers flavors of strawberries and watermelon juice. Other offerings include ‘Hydration Berry’ and ‘Hydration Pineapple Mango.’
