Chicken & Waffles, a Southern favorite, could soon land on Chick-fil-A’s menu. Recently, there was an announcement about testing this crave-inducing combination, which would make the fans excited to see it as a permanent menu item.
Chick-fil-A to Begin Taste Test of a New Item
Food news account Snackolator ignited buzz among Chick-fil-A fans after revealing that the brand will soon test a long-requested menu item. Starting December 1st, Chick-fil-A will begin testing Chicken & Waffle sandwiches at locations in Baltimore and San Antonio.
The sandwich features a spicy chicken filet layered between two maple waffles, topped with applewood-smoked bacon and honey butter spread, and served with syrup.
In Baltimore, select locations will serve the sandwich all day, while San Antonio restaurants will feature it exclusively at breakfast.
Many of Chick-fil-A’s previous menu tests have gone on to become national offerings. Fans are hopeful this sweet-and-savory combo will make its way nationwide.
