This year, Walmart reported numerous major product recalls that affected millions of customers nationwide. The recalls were of various types and were made on the basis of various safety issues.

In most cases, manufacturers issued voluntary recalls in coordination with federal agencies, and Walmart pulled down the affected products in its outlets as well as on its online market. Here’s the list of all significant recalls.

Georgia Nut Company had recalls on some of the Tru Fru products due to the potential presence of metal fragments. The frozen-dried affected fruit snacks were being sold at Walmart stores across the country. Consumers had to check lot codes and discard the affected ones, as they could lead to internal injuries.

Tru Fru Freeze Dried Strawberries in Dark & White Chocolate and Tru Fru Freeze Dried Strawberries & Crème were the products affected by the recall. Fortunately, no cases of illness were reported due to these snacks.

2. Demers Food Group Recalled Scott & Jon’s Product
