Koombea Inc., a digital product development company, has filed for bankruptcy relief. The company from Naples, Florida, has opted for a Chapter 11 process to restructure its business. Operations are set to continue as usual during the court-supervised process.

On December 22, Koombea Inc. approached the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of FloridaPACER records show that the Florida company submitted a voluntary petition to the court.

Jonathan Tarud, the president of the digital product development company, signed the petition before it was submitted yesterday.

Attorney Michael Dal Lago of Dal Lago Law is legally representing Koombea Inc. in the bankruptcy court. Judge Luis Ernesto Rivera II is supervising the latest case of the digital product developer.

Koombea Inc. offers solutions related to custom software and AI development for mobile and web app development projects. Its other services include UX/UI design, e-commerce, and digital transformation.

Since its establishment in 2007, the Florida-based company has built more than 1000 apps. Some of these have been acquired by Google, Facebook, Motorola Solutions, Skype, and other companies.

Founded by Jonathan Tarud, the digital product development firm employs custom Agile development methodologies. Koombea Inc. serves a range of industries, such as FinTech, retail, MedTech, EdTech, and more. The services offered include project-based development, software maintenance, staff augmentation, and managed services.

Saasler, Dashable, and Covergely are some of the software tools that the Florida company has developed through the years.
