The culinary team said it focused on adapting familiar pumpkin pie flavors for the frozen desserts.
“Fall flavors are rooted in nostalgia, so we wanted to capture the experience people associate with pumpkin pie and translate it into a frozen treat,” said Erin Buono, Director of Research & Development at Jeremiah’s Italian Ice. “The Pumpkin Italian Ice delivers those familiar seasonal flavors, while the Vanilla Soft Ice Cream and Cookie Butter Crumbles bring in the creaminess and texture that make the whole combination feel like dessert.”
The returning favorite also serves as a key driver for brand engagement, according to company leadership. It also gives franchise operators an effective way to keep customers returning throughout the year.
Jeremiah’s Italian Ice CEO Michael Keller said guests have come to look forward to the brand’s pumpkin season, adding that bringing the collection back allows the company to revisit a familiar flavor while putting its own spin on it.
Jeremiah’s Italian Ice was founded in 1996. In 2019 the brand started franchising. Jeremiah’s Italian Ice has built its reputation around superior frozen treats and guest experience. Currently it has more than 175 locations open or in development across the U.S.
