Nebraska Peace of Mind Behavioral Health, LLC has formally sought bankruptcy protection. Through the Chapter 11, the Nebraska-based company is hoping to restructure its debts while operations continue as normal.​

​Nebraska Peace of Mind Behavioral Health, LLC voluntarily filed for Chapter 11 on February 13, according to court records on PACER. The petition identifies the Lincoln, Nebraska-based mental health provider as a “small business debtor” under 11 U.S.C. § 101(51D) and states that it has chosen to proceed under Subchapter V of Chapter 11.

​Sam Hasan, the Manager and CEO of Nebraska Peace of Mind Behavioral Health, LLC, filed the petition in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nebraska.

Attorney Patrick R. Turner of Turner Legal Group, LLC, is offering legal representation to the mental health service provider in the case.​

Court filings note that Nebraska Peace of Mind Behavioral Health, LLC had earlier filed for bankruptcy on January 14, 2026.

Company Background​

Nebraska Peace of Mind Behavioral Health, LLC serves the Lincoln community and nearby Nebraska locations with a range of mental health services. From therapies and psychiatric medication management to psychological evaluation and GeneSight Genetics Testing, its offerings are designed to assist children, adults, and adolescents. The organization offers expert care for depression, ADHD, and anxiety as well.

​According to the company website, to date, Nebraska Peace of Mind Behavioral Health, LLC has served more than 9,000 patients and completed over 30,000 appointments.​

While the mental health service provider used to operate for years at its Orchard Street location in Lincoln, it recently expanded its presence in the city. In a LinkedIn post, the company announced its launch at 8600 Maddox Drive starting November 3, 2025.

​Nebraska Peace of Mind Behavioral Health, LLC further stated that the new facility would offer the Lincoln community in-person medication management, pharmacy support services, and Spravato treatments.​
