i4 CoffeeÂ

- Where: 10212 Westminster Ave, Garden Grove, CA 92843, United States
- When: October 27, 2025
i4 Coffee, located in Garden Grove, serves Vietnamese coffee and comfort food, offering breakfast options, dinner specials, and happy hour deals.
According to the official inspection report, the restaurant was cited for multiple major health code violations, including evidence of cockroach infestation. The official report mentioned:
- The report noted that bean sprouts were held in an inadequate ice bath at 70°F, while Bo Kho (beef soup) was kept at 90°F. The report pointed this out as a major health code violation, as both items were held outside proper temperature ranges. The person in charge added more ice to cool the sprouts to 41°F within three hours and reheated the soup to 165°F before keeping it hot at 135°F.
- The report cited evidence of cockroach activity throughout the kitchen, particularly near coolers, freezers, and sinks. The inspection also found dead cockroaches on the floor and shelves. The restaurant is required to eliminate the infestation, clean and sanitize the affected area using department-approved measures, and seal gaps.
- According to the official report, frozen meats were thawed at room temperature on the prep table. The report advised using proper thawing methods: thaw all potentially hazardous foods (PHF) in a refrigerator at 41°F or below, under cold running water (70°F or below) for no more than two hours, or in a microwave followed by immediate cooking.
- Accumulated black residue inside the ice machine in the kitchen area, a lack of hot water supply at the handwash sink, and the exhaust hood system turned off while the stove grill was turned on were also reported during the inspection.
- The report also mentioned that the restaurant is required to take proper measures to protect the establishment from vermin infestation. Several gaps and openings in the walls and ceiling near the drainage pipes and kitchen equipment could allow pests to enter.
- The facility was instructed to keep its door closed, replace loose ceiling tiles, and cover and seal all the gaps.
