- Where: 13091 Springdale St, Westminster, CA 92683
Heidi’s Donuts serves donuts, beverages, and sandwiches. According to the report, the eatery was non-compliant with the health safety codes. The violations were:
- The employee did not have the knowledge of proper warewashing procedures at the two-compartment sink and stated that the detergent and sanitizing steps were combined into one.
- Sealed sliced turkey stored in the one-door reach-in cooler next to the three-compartment sink was swollen, indicating spoilage, the report said. The operator voluntarily discarded two packages of sliced turkey.
- Rodent droppings were observed on the drink preparation table next to the soda machine. The operator removed the droppings and sanitized the affected surface.
- The report noted that rodent droppings were also present on the drink prep table, the windowsill behind the soda machines, and inside the three storage compartments beneath the soda display cases.

- Personal food was observed stored above customer food in multiple coolers, including the one-door reach-in next to the three-compartment sink, the stacked two-door reach-in next to the display coolers, the one-door display cooler next to the hand sink, and the one-door reach-in next to the rear door.
- The air curtain at the back door was observed to be disconnected or in disrepair. The unit must be repaired, reconnected, or replaced with an insect exclusion device that automatically activates to prevent flying pests from entering the facility, the report mentioned.
- Accumulation of clutter and unrelated items was observed, including newspapers, recycling bottles and bags, window blinds, electrical wires, power tools, shoes, and ladders.
