This tea shop serves fruit and tea-based beverages and is known as a popular place to hang out. However, a recent inspection revealed numerous major and minor health code violations at the tea house. The most serious issue was a pest infestation, which resulted in the closure of the tea house.
Inspectors observed live cockroaches of various life stages in critical areas. These areas include next to the ice machine, in the sanitizer bucket, in the paper towel dispenser, and other places. Apart from this violation, other minor health code violations include:
- The egg pudding was stored in the boba cooler at 60°F instead of the standard 41°F
- Food items were missing the time labels required for public health control
- The cooler was malfunctioning and required repair
- The ceiling tile had a hole that needed repairing
- Filth and debris were found in several areas and needed cleaning

The major health code violation found was the pest infestation. Several cockroaches and flies were found around the restaurant by the inspectors. Some were on the kitchen floor, in the walk-in cooler, near the water heater, while others were in the damp areas of the facility.
