Bushfire Kitchen, the fast casual restaurant group serving scratch-made comfort food, has opened its latest outpost in Brea, CA. The opening marks the brand’s second location in Orange County and its 10th unit overall – a landmark achievement for the family-owned and operated business.

To thank the Brea community for their support, Bushfire Kitchen is hosting a series of giveback days for local community heroes. The restaurant will offer buy one, get one free on bowls, burgers, sandwiches and salads for police officers, firefighters and other first responders from November 17th through 19th, and for teachers and school workers from November 24th through 26th *.

Oliver Barwin, CEO said in a statement “The people of Brea have welcomed us with open arms and we are honored to celebrate the everyday heroes who make this city thrive – from police officers on the front line to teachers in our kids’ schools. Just as Bushfire Kitchen takes pride in preparing wholesome, high-quality meals, we’re equally passionate about giving back to those who dedicate their lives to serving and uplifting our community.”

Located at 765 E Birch St #101 in the Sprouts and Target-anchored Brea Marketplace (across the street from Brea City Hall), Bushfire Kitchen Brea spans over 2,000 square feet, with a covered, heated patio and ample parking. The brand specializes in chef- driven American cuisine with a global twist, featuring a wide array of bowls, burgers, sandwiches, salads and plates. It is known for its ‘something for everyone’ ethos, with plenty of gluten free, high protein and plant-based options. Guests can enjoy daily happy hour from 2-5 pm, as well as catering for local businesses and special events.

The Brea opening brings Bushfire Kitchen’s portfolio to 10 restaurants, following a successful Long Beach debut this past July, and kicks off an accelerated period of growth for the brand. Its Rancho Bernardo location is slated to open early 2026 and several additional openings are already confirmed across Southern California next year.
